- 300g beef (thinly sliced)
- 1 cup mushrooms (sliced, any type you prefer)
- 1 cup corn kernels (fresh or canned)
- 1 medium onion (sliced)
- 2-3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1-2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup water or beef broth
- Optional: 1-2 red chilies (sliced for spice)
- Fresh herbs (cilantro or green onions for garnish)

1. **Prepare the Beef:**
   - Thinly slice the beef and marinate it with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon of sugar, and a pinch of black pepper. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes.

2. **Stir-Fry the Beef:**
   - Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok or large frying pan over medium-high heat.
   - Add the minced garlic and stir until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
